TUF 10 Finale - Matt Mitrione drops Marcus Jones in the second round - Mitrione gana a Marcus Jones en el Segundo Round

Controversial “Ultimate Fighter” season ten cast member, Matt Mitrione got his UFC and MMA career off to a flying start tonight in Las Vegas, knocking out “Big Baby” Marcus Jones in the second round of their contest.

Jones instantly locks up and takes Mitrione to the ground, securing side control. Mitrione moves to half guard without taking any damage before getting back to his feet. Jones looks to land a big right from the clinch twice over before Mitrione lands a good knee. The pair separate and Jones lands a kick before grabbing hold of Mitrione’s neck, attempting a guillotine choke as he drags him to the ground. Mitrione escapes and stands back up, landing kicks while Jones stays grounded. Jones stands and the pair exchange sloppy punches before Jones once again takes the fight to the ground although he doesn’t manage to keep it there for long. Mitrione lands a heavy punch which seemingly has Jones rocked but “Big Baby” manages to hang on and take the fight to the ground once again.

The second round is over almost as quickly as it begins as Jones lunges forward and is caught by a big right hand from Mitrione. Another connects as Jones is falling and Mitrione makes sure with a flurry on the ground.

After briefly retiring from the sport following his semi-final loss on the reality show earlier this year you would expect Jones to come out with a similar statement following this one but we’ll have to wait and see. As for Mitrione, his journey is only just beginning and could find his way onto another card early next year.

Después de una breve de retirarse del deporte tras su semi-pérdida final en el reality show de este año que se puede esperar Jones a salir con una declaración similar después de este, pero tendremos que esperar y ver. En cuanto a Mitrione, su viaje apenas acaba de empezar y no pudo encontrar su camino en otra carta a principios del año próximo.
