Evans wants to fight Anderson Silva and another crack at Lyoto Machida - Evans quiere Luchar contra Anderson Silva y una Revancha contra Machida

Former UFC light heavyweight champion, Rashad Evans has given his thoughts on a potential fight with “pound for pound” great, Anderson Silva as well as making it clear he wants another shot at the only man to have beaten him, Lyoto Machida.

Speaking at the UFC Fight Club Q & A yesterday, Evans said:

“He’s just so super relaxed and he does things that you wouldn’t expect him to do... he can beat people before they walk into the cage with him. I’m not going to be moving around from the outside. I’m going to try to get inside as much as I can, because he’s so long, I’m gonna make him work and try to do what I can do to put him in danger. If I were to fight him, I’ll just control the range. That’s probably the most important thing for me to do.”

On the prospect of a rematch with Machida, Evans commented:

“I think when I had the belt I wasn’t the champion. I was the champion, but I didn’t own it. I definitely want to get a chance to fight Machida again. I didn’t get to defend (the belt) the way I should.”

Evans will next see action on January 2nd at UFC 108 when he squares off against another Silva, dangerous all-rounder, Thiago Silva in the main event of the evening.

El ex campeón de peso semipesado de UFC, Rashad Evans ha dado su opinión sobre una pelea con potencial de "libra por libra" grande, Anderson Silva, así como dejando claro que quiere otra oportunidad en el único hombre que lo ha golpeado, Lyoto Machida.

Al hablar en el UFC Fight Club Q & A día de ayer, Evans dijo:

"Él es ta super relajado y hace cosas que no se espera que haga ... que puede golpear a la gente antes de entrar en la jaula con él. Yo no voy a estar moviéndome desde el exterior. Voy a tratar de entrar lo más que pueda, porque es muy largo, voy a hacerle el trabajo y tratar de hacer lo que puedo hacer para ponerlo en peligro. Si yo fuera a pelear con él, voy a controlar el rango. Eso es probablemente lo más importante para mí ".

En la perspectiva de una revancha con Machida, Evans comentó:

"Creo que cuando tuve el cinturon el no era el campeón. Yo era el campeón, pero no me pertenece. Definitivamente quiero tener la oportunidad de luchar con Machida de nuevo. El No llegó a defender (El Cinturon) de la forma en que debería ".

Evans se le verá en acción el 2 de enero en el UFC 108 cuando se enfrente otro Silva, peligroso para cualquier ocasión, Thiago Silva en el evento principal de la noche.
